The Family Readiness Group (FRG) is one of the most important mechanisms for supporting family members who are left at the home base when units deploy. The volunteers who make up the FRG are a key element in helping maintain family member morale while also providing necessary assistance when problems are encountered. Providing support for family members at the home base ensures that deployed soldiers can focus on their mission without unnecessary distractions.
